Act Five 2021-22 in-person program is ON!
We are SO EXCITED to announce that this September, we will be welcoming a new cohort of students into our big old home on Blake Street for another year of in-person adventure, community, fun and learning.
Following the recent announcement of Ontario’s reopening plan, we here at Act Five are increasingly confident that we will be able to safely offer all parts of our program, including the opportunity to live in a household with a group of peers and staff who will function as a single household for whatever restrictions may still be in place.
Exciting plans are underway for Act Five 2021-22, including wilderness trips with Coldwater Canada, exploration in the city of Hamilton, time spent learning from indigenous communities, and life in community — all of which have proven to be significant highlights for past alumni. Act Five staff are hopeful for a tentative international trip in January 2022, so stay tuned for a future announcement! Keep an eye on our website for our full 2021-22 program schedule.
