The Campaign
Act Five aims to raise $2.6 million to purchase and renovate a permanent Act Five home, providing a witness of hospitality, stability, and hope for all who live, visit, and pass by.
Establishing Home unlocks the potential in Act Five’s strategic priorities towards seeing young adults living wholeheartedly as disciples of Jesus, walking faithfully in the contexts of school, church, neighbourhood, and work.
The Challenge of a Leased Home
- $8,400 in monthly rent
- Needed renovations on hold due to lack of ownership
- Expansion to new, secondary properties not feasible with costs of renting
Act Five’s mandate remains impeded as long as we are unable to own and renovate our home base.
The Opportunity
In light of an unexpected opportunity to purchase our permanent home, Act Five has a chance to do the following:
Improve the home to better welcome students, residents, guests and neighbours.
Convert new usable spaces to expand mission and increase revenue.
Unlock organizational stability & potential for growth by lowering annual property expenses.
With the purchase of the house secured as of March 31, your support ensures that essential upgrades and renovations are able to start as planned to transform the home into a place of welcome and formation for young adults for years to come.

The Invitation

Single gifts, loans, or installments fulfilled now or over multiple months or years.
Gifts of Service and Gifts in Kind
- Provision of volunteer services in general or specialized labour (i.e. trades).
- Material gifts relevant to the campaign (i.e. catering for events).
