Arissa reports on Rianna's placement with RE-create, a youth art studio located downtown Hamilton that uses art as a pathway to healing.

"I am often humbled to be in the role that I am in, to be able to witness the kingdom of God coming in and through these 12 students of Act Five's first cohort.  I see and trust that the impact of this program ripples beyond these students."

"CityKidz is a great placement because it forces me out of my comfort zone, in a good way."

Placements are now well underway across the city! Each week we will be giving insight into the exciting things happening as our students engage in these experiences. This week, Autumn's placement with Open Homes Hamilton is in the spotlight.

"I think that this is the true power of community." Arissa reflects on the reoccurring theme of radical hospitality since the winter trip.

Today is day one of student placements, a moment long anticipated. Join us over the next 10 or so weeks to follow along with all that our students are up to.

"This time at the frozen lake was carved out for us. Done on purpose. I'm anticipating that it was the calm before the busyness of this upcoming second semester."

God is on the move here. And we head into Christmas break tired, full and grateful.
